And we had a party.
Robert and our kind-of cousin, Lance have birthdays on the very same day. (Lance is my cousin's cousin, but not my cousin, get it?) That's grilled angel food cake and a grilled peach with homemade ice cream (which was not grilled).

All that grilling looks yummy. At a RS activity they had grilled pineapple with coconut milk on top.
I'm glad you had a good birthday, Robert. Emily, you look so darling in that apron. I like the black kettle.
I was going to make a comment about your "Robert just gets better every year" line, but anything I think of makes it sound like he's really getting old. Like calling him vintage wouldn't be right, right? And commenting about how it's a good thing he's improving with age or you'd have to donate him to GoodWill.... That's not a very polite thing to say...
