this is atlanta

last weekend we went to atlanta georgia.

robert presented one of his papers at a literary conference there. his paper was on post-colonialism and subalternity, and it had something to do with 'othering' and with one's agency. I think that's right.

atlanta is now as far south as I have ever been. I'm not counting texas. so we went out for bbq ribs, and to a waffle house.
