Cama Beach

Vacations! First we went to Robert's house in Washington, and we spent three days camping with his family at Cama Beach on Camano Island. What a blast.

Robert and I built the best rocket. The parachute never came out, and it sort of crash-landed, but dang it looked good.

Well, it wasn't really camping. We were in cabins.

We went crabbing, but the starfish was about the coolest thing we caught.

We wanted to get back to our roots. Celebrate our Northwest heritage. So we spray-painted on trees.

Robert and I went out one night to take this time-stop of the stars. It's the North Star in the middle that doesn't move, but all the other stars do. I have no idea how long the shutter was open because when we went to pick up the camera the battery had died.

In case you're wondering, yeah, that hurt.

Way more family pictures here.
