We played on the merry-go-round the other night and we brought along the camera and the tripod. We also brought along the Perkes' (or the "Perkes's"--whichever you prefer--both are correct) and they brought along their camera which we used as an external flash.
Most of the pictures originally looked red like this because we used the Perks's red eye flash to light the foreground . . .
. . . but you can do some pretty cool things with Photoshop. I like that after the bottom image was lightened, you can see the trees in the background. Mostly, though, the pictures were just edited to get the skin tones closer to right.
