Emily, Laura, Chris and I took a water taxi to National Harbor.
We missed Jenn because her Scrooge of a boss (my words not hers) made her work on Thanksgiving weekend.
The Potomac didn't inspire in me an urge to go fishing. I'm not sure if it was the massive amounts of floating debris or the cold wind, but I'm pretty sure it was the floating debris.
The mall
We played for a bit at the
Gaylord Hotel. We rode their elevators, watched their fountain show and played their peeps game.
We found six peeps on our scavenger hunt and so when we went to the peep store (thats right,
the peep store) and they gave us free Mike & Ikes.
We went ice skating, too. I'll post a few videos from that next time.
Where's Laura?
Now that Thanksgiving weekend's as dead as leftover turkey, Laura has officially started with the Christmas music. She smiles like that when she listens to it.
