last summer, right between this trip and this, we went home to Seattle then to Oregon. It was such a busy time these pictures must've slipped through the cracks. here are a few pictures I found from Oregon.
we went up to see the gold man on top of the state capitol building
we went to the insane asylum where One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was filmed, because Robert had never been. mom told us about when she used to go visiting teaching there, and dad told us about the cans of cremated people in the basement. it's almost a shame that the next generation won't have it to creep themselves out with.
and we went to a funny used bookstore
