Plane Spotting at Gravelly Point

We bought some massive, fluffy donuts at Shoppers and had an evening at Gravelly Point, a park at the end of Ronald Reagan Airport's runways.

The planes were loud and intimidating. They howled like a DC blizzard.

Laura danced while they flew away.

Earlier yesterday I kicked the last surviving mound of snow out of the shade, and it's gone now. Defunct like the winter.

It was 70 degrees yesterday afternoon.

Happy Spring Solstice, everyone.

Reminds me of when I was little. We went to watch the planes come in at LAX.
