We started off here by Key Bridge in Georgetown.
We got some gelato along the waterfront (because it's date night, and it smelled like vacation outside).
We stopped at a park near the Kennedy Center looked back at Georgetown and saw this.
We waited at the Roosevelt Bridge for a plane and a boat to cross at the same time.
We went to the Tidal Basin because we wanted to see the cherry blossoms at night.

take us with next time - gorgeous pics. How'd Laura hop fences in a skirt
ha ha. they were very short fences. in fact, they were barriers meant to keep people on walkways and out of monuments and memorials.
"Fences hopped" was my favorite. Love the photos. Robert, what do you shoot?
You guys are too cool.
Laura's very agile with the fences and surprisingly unconcerned about defiling national monuments. I use a Canon 30D, and I like it alight, but with all due respect to Canon I would probably direct people to Nikon if they are considering an SLR. We use our Holga, but we never develop our film and rarely remember to bring it with us.
So fun!
