We went to Bethany Beach, DE

via Trap Pond State Park. We camped next to some interesting neighbors, friendly bugs (they generally left us alone) in a thunderstorm and 90 degree-at-midnight-with-full-humidity weather. We've never camped in weather like that before and it was fun.

We thought it might be a lake, but it was really just a thick pond.

We missed the memo about bringing bright umbrellas.

We swam.

and at the end of the day we were tired. Too tired, in fact, to tell Jess we were all going to make goofy faces.
