So I've mentioned before that we often get free cupcakes around lunchtime by checking this page every day and asking for the "supersecret" cupcake. Well, now another cupcake store, Sprinkles, just opened that also gives out random free cupcakes. The other day we got some, and because they were closing up shop they gave us each two, and so we had a lot of energy.
From there things got kind of dicey. We met up with my cousin, Jess, and took a lot of pictures with our film cameras. We hung out at a rally to free Libya, rode bikes, and, among other things, saw:
an apparently naughty fire hydrant receiving the dunce-cap treatment (and a nearly-perfect triangle shadow in the background),
the National Portrait Gallery (we spent a lot of time at the Alexander Calder exhibit),
the best sandwiches in DC (Taylor's Gourmet),
Chinatown (Laura's not really taking a picture),
sailor-me (his metal duffle bag was way cooler than mine),
our shadows (we predict two more weeks of winter),
and our Uncle Abe (please note the awesome pose the child in the background is making).

I think both kids in the background (and foreground!) have awesome poses... such a fun day!
