oh, targhee! i love thee. at one time this weekend we were on the chairlift with an old hippie guy. (probably high.) robert told him he teaches english at byu-i, and the old man said, "oh, so you teach all 'thee' and 'thou' and stuff?" robert said, "yeah, sure."
that was the only time we rode the chairlift with someone else. most of the time the chair lifts were empty. we had all that beautiful snow to ourselves. skiing through fresh, dry powder is like skiing on a wedding cake. or a birthday cake?
i got to ski on my birthday. and i got to ski on martin luther king jr. day, too. wish come true.
