I watched Robert judge a local spelling bee for elementary school kids. It was pretty great; I saw some helicopter parents and some kids cry. I've seen Spellbound (not the Hitchcock, the documentary, although i have seen Hitchcock's and it's good too) so I was prepared for that (hoping to see that).

ok, so I googled "helicopter parent" and had a good time laughing! I suppose it is a phenomenom that is too new for me!
Spelling bees are good though and fun to see the prof there albeit without a bowtie! :) Thanks for posting!
