Saturday Morning Breakfast Cat, and other DC oddities

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cat

We went to the old Post Office building last night before meeting Laura's Aunt Nancy and Uncle Doug for dinner. This is the view from the tower.

How convenient that we had a letter to send.

Two nights ago we took some pictures off of Key Bridge on the way back from Laura's work. We didn't have a tripod, and all of these are at least 2 second exposures (most were 10-15 second exposures), so we had to get in some weird positions in order to secure the camera against the metalwork of the bridge. This is Georgetown University.

This is the George Washington Memorial Parkway

Again

This is where I have most of my classes. Above the bird feeders. On the seventh floor.
Just some random monument to good ol' whatshisname

I just love that you are surrounded by such great history. The Old Post Office looks very interesting. Also, I must admit, I am so pleased to know that you are close to bird feeders! :)
