we went to the top of the washington monument and saw:
the capitol.
the lincoln memorial and beyond it where we live.
this replica of the capstone on top of the washington monument.
(it is succeeded in height within the district only by the national cathedral. the monument is at the geographical center of a cross in the heart of our nations government. the words, Laus Deo, inscribed on one side of the capstone, mean Praise be to God.)
the white house, and

Now if you just get a picture of the other daughter you will have gotten the whole clan in just the last few weeks. Very fun. Your pictures of the president were better than mine!
