more snow came and kept robert from going to new orleans and I'm trying to be sad about it

robert was accepted to a literary conference and was supposed to go to new orleans this weekend to present his paper but all flights were canceled. he really wanted to go but i'm really glad he gets to stay here with me.
we went to see thomas jefferson yesterday, and robert snowboarded down his front steps.

we met a couple of guys there who came to snowboard. their camera died so we exchanged pictures for a ride.

we're really not sick of the snow. we love it. but it's a pain when your city only has a couple of snow plows.

this is robert yesterday

and this is robert 4 years ago in the summertime

and we were the only ones there,
except for the snowboarders

I love how you wrote on the bench. Very awesome. I bet it's surreal to see your city...well, kind of dead. Also, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has to deal with snow :)

Haha. That's a story to tell your grandkids. But now that you've had your fun please send the snow back to us. Gracias.

Those are priceless photos. You guys are too much fun. Sorry (but not that sorry) about Robert's flight. :)
